This is a plan which outlines the nature of the pupil's additional suppport needs, the factors affecting learning, the approaches to be used and the learning outcomes to be achieved. This plan can be used by a number of staff to ensure consistency of approach in meeting needs of individual pupils.
An additional support plan records the needs of a pupil which are additional to or otherwise different from their peers. These needs will be met, on the whole, within the class. However, for some pupils an additional support plan will specify group work or individual work appropriate to their needs.
