Edwrite is the software used by the Children and Families Department staff to write some plans electronically. Staff can still use the latest version, Edwrite 5, to write Additional Support Plans and Individualised Educational Programmes.
However, work is currently underway to have Edwrite incorporated into SEEMIS. This will allow schools to write plans more easily and transfer pupil information from other areas of SEEMIS. A pilot involving six schools will take place between November and February and it is expected that there will be a roll out to all schools after Easter, to include training. A project manager has been appointed to oversee the pilot and roll out.
