Anyone who lives or works in the city, from school pupils and students to members of the business community can enter. Two celebrity judges will judge the competition and winning entrants will be awarded prizes worth £500-£1,000. Selected competition entries will be displayed at the public ‘Waste Not Want Not’ exhibition, as part of the Waste Aware Edinburgh Festival in July 2005.
