Curriculum for Excellence sets out the Scottish Executive's vision for transforming Scottish education by 2007. It seeks to establish the values, purposes and principles of education in Scotland for children between the ages of 3 and 18.

Teachers who have been involved in the Assessment is for Learning programme have an immediate understanding of the philosophy of Curriculum for Excellence.
SQA Academy
SQA is in the process of engaging with stakeholders around the proposed changes to the Core Skills Framework and National Qualifications for future presentation. SQA Academy is a website which has been created to allow stakeholders the opportunity to to view the proposed Core Skills Framework and the rationale behind the proposed changes. There are questionnaires to complete and discussion boards to allow you to make comments and feedback your views. The questionnaires apply to all who engage with the Core Skills Framework and the National qualifications in any capacity and in any context.
