Equalities Review - Fairness and Freedom

The Equalities Review, Fairness and Freedom (PDF, 1.3MB), warns that despite the significant progress achieved over the past 60 years, some kinds of inequality are set to remain at intolerable levels, and calls for a new approach to tackling discrimination and disadvantage.

Policy on Fair Treatment at work

This policy addresses any unfair treatment of employees by other employees and by service users as part of its actions to encourage and develop an anti-discriminatory culture.

Definition of Disability

The Disability Discrimination Act 1995, 2005 and Case Law have provided guidance on what constitutes a disability and what does not. All staff are expected to be aware of these definitions and classifications. For more clarity, please see the document below.
