Training Trainers in Practical Strategies to Address Bullying and Prejudice
This is a two day course by the national anti-bullying service (respect me) especially tailored for staff in the Children and Families Department. Staff will be expected to deliver two one-day courses during the following year, one of which will be in a Secondary school.
Aims:
- To distinguish what is bullying and prejudice and what isn't.
- To identify signs.
- To explain factors leading to bullying.
- To recognise effects on health, well- being and attainment.
- To appreciate the journey of recovery.
- To describe and practice anti-bullying strategies.
Date: Wednesday 17 September and Thursday 18 September
Time: 9am - 5pm
