Mark and Diane did foster me and they were there for me when I needed them. Things are much better now. I'm still at my school with all my friends.
Could you be part of a child's story? Come and meet carers like them at our drop in events. We urgently need local foster carers for local children from birth to 18. They need you too.

The City of Edinburgh Council is urgently looking for more foster carers.
We need people to care for children for a few days or months and some will need caring for all of their childhood. Some will be adopted and become part of their new family for life. A carer can have a huge impact on a child's life, improving their confidence and helping them towards a happy future.
Have you heard our radio ad on Forth One or seen our adverts and taxis? We are supporting Foster Care Fortnight and we really need more foster carers to care for Edinburgh's children.
