Home Based Education is a key aspect of parental choice. The aim of this policy is to encourage good practice in this area by setting out the legislative position and providing advice on roles and responsibilities of the local authority and parents who wish to educate their children at home.
Procedures and practices in relation to home education will be reviewed within the next year updating any changes in government guidance.
